Edinburgh Volunteer Fair

A group of the Project Echo artists were invited to attend the Edinburgh Volunteer Fair, and host a painting session with participants to create several art pieces looking at the topics of environmentalism, social inclusion, volunteering and unity.

The day was fantastic, and Echo artists visited all the stalls and found out a lot about what organisaition are around and what services are currently on offer, and where people can help.

After the fair, we visited ‘Our of the Blueprint’ and learnt about their organisation and what they offer, as well as a residency / scholarship they offer for young people.

We finished the day with a walk looking for seaglass and picking up rubbish at South Queensferry, whilst munching on some hot chips.
