Macrobert Arts Centre - 12 Days of Christmas Creativity

In November 2020 I started at the Macrobert Arts Centre in Stirling, Scotland, as a Creative Learning Officer. This was able to happen as part of a funding initiative, with the intention of kick starting programs that were forced to a stand still post Covid-19, as well as implementing new ones for the changed time and space.

The first program that we initiated was that of a ‘12 Days of Christmas Creativity’ that included free workshops and events showcasing and offering tasters of the coming curriculum and workshops planned for 2021.

As a way to promote access and offer an alternative to zoom' based learning, I created two pre-recorded workshops for people to engage with in their own time, with minimal costs and materials involved.

I also took the Caffeine Painting workshop and delivered it to students from the Dundee and Angus College as a form of creative respite.
